We also see these same two spoken of in the Revelation of Yahweh that was given to Yahshua Who sent it to Yahchanan by a heavenly Messenger so it could be recorded for us today.
Revelation 1:1—
The Revelation of Yahshua Messiah, which Yahweh gave to Him, to show His Servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it through His Malak to His Servant Yahchanan:
Revelation 11:1-4—
1 And there was given me a reed like a measuring rod. And the Malak stood, saying: Rise, and measure the temple of Yahweh, and the altar, and its confines; where they worship within.
2 But the court which is outside the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given to the Gentiles. And the Holy city they will tread under foot three and one-half years.
3 And I will give to My Two Witnesses to perform their Prophetic offices, and they will foretell events about the three and one-half years, those cast about with darkness.
4 These are, as it were, the two Olive Trees, and, as it were, the two lamps of the seven-lamp Lampstand, ministering for the Father in the earth.

Make sure you get the previous Scriptures from Isayah, Daniyl and Zecharyah in your mind at this point. Now back to Daniyl.
Daniyl 12:4-5—
4 But you, O Daniyl, shut up the words, and seal the book to the time of The End; many will run to and fro, and knowledge will be increased.
5 Then I, Daniyl, looked; and behold, there stood Two Others, one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

So we see the two brothers are the two Anointed Ones also called Witnesses for the Last Days. They are also the same ones spoken of by the Savior, Yahshua Messiah, who take this Message to all nations, and then The End will come.
Mattithyah 24:14—
And this Message of the Kingdom will be preached to all the world by the One who bears witness to all nations; and then The End will come.

Daniyl 12:5-7—
5 Then I, Daniyl, looked; and behold, there stood Two Others, one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the Man clothed in linen, who on that future day is teaching: How long will it be to the end of these wonders?
7 Then I heard the Man clothed in linen, who on that future day is teaching, when he held up his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and vowed by Him Who lives forever, that: It will be for a time, times, and a half, when Yahweh will have accomplished pouring out His Power through His Holy People, all these things will be finished.

There are two brothers but only one of them is prophesied to show that The End is scheduled for the end of the 7-year peace plan given in Daniyl Chapters 9 and 12.
Daniyl 9:27—
And he will confirm a covenant with many for one week; seven years, and in the midst of the week, he will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; instead, he will cause the prevalence of the lord of heaven even until the destruction that is determined will be poured upon the desolator.

I wrote about this peace plan in the 1970s in our book, The Mark of the Beast, Volume Two. The 7-year peace plan was not created until the 1990s when it was signed into action by the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, the late PLO leader Yasser Arafat and former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

This peace plan, as Daniyl was inspired to write here a little and there a little, was a plan of action. It was prophesied to stay in action 3½ years then be shut down for 7 years and then be started again to finish the last 3½ years of action left of the 7-year plan. Notice carefully the last part of Daniyl 12:7.
Daniyl 12:7—
...all these things will be finished.

All these things include what is written in verse 1, the greatest time of trouble ever.
Daniyl 12:1—
And at that time will Micahyah stand up, the great ruler who stands for the children of your people; and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation to that same time. And at that time your people will be delivered, everyone who will be found written in The Book of Life.

This is the same time spoken of by the Prophet Isayah and Yahshua Messiah.
Isayah 24:1-6, 18-23—
1 Before Yahweh's very Eyes, the earth is made empty and it is made waste; the face of it is perverted and its inhabitants scattered abroad;
2 And it will be: as with the people, so with the priests; as with the servant, so with his owner; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with him who takes usury, so with him who gives usury to him:
3 The land will be utterly emptied and utterly plundered, for it has come to pass that this Judgment has been pronounced.
4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world mourns and fades away, and the haughty people of the earth languish.
5 The earth also is defiled because of the inhabitants of it, because they have transgressed the Laws, changed the Ordinance, and broken the Everlasting Covenant.
6 Because of this, the curse has devoured the earth, and they who dwell therein are desolate; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
18 And it will come to pass, that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up from the midst of the pit will be caught in the snare; for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth are shaken.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is dissolved clean, the earth is shaken exceedingly.
20 The earth will reel to and fro like a drunkard, and will sway like a hut. The transgression in it will be heavy upon it; it will fall, and not rise again.
21 And it will come to pass in that day that Yahweh will call to account the host of the high ones who are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth;
22 They will be gathered together, like prisoners are gathered in the pit and will be shut up in the prison, and after many days they will be called to account.
23 Then the moon will be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when Yahweh our Father will Gloriously reign through those who think to keep all His Laws, and through the Priest who teaches peace, and before His Ancients.
Mattithyah 24:7, 21-22, 29—
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, and pestilences; disease epidemics, and earthquakes in place after place:
21 For then will be Great Tribulation, such as has not come to pass since the beginning of the world to this time—no, nor ever will be.
22 And unless those days were shortened, there would no flesh be saved; but for the Elect's sake, those days will be shortened.
29 Immediately, but after the Great Tribulation of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

This is the same trouble the Quartet is facing which world leaders knew was coming, that's why the Quartet was formed. The start of this time of trouble is shown in:
Revelation 6:7-8—
7 And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say: Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat upon it was death; and sheol; the grave, followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with pestilence—the same under the authority of the beast of the earth.

This time of trouble is the same time that Daniyl said one of the Witnesses would foretell.
Daniyl 12:5-7—
5 Then I, Daniyl, looked; and behold, there stood two others, one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the Man clothed in linen, who on that future day is teaching: How long will it be to the end of these wonders?

Part of this time of trouble is shown to be held back by Yahweh, through request of Yahshua Messiah, in Revelation Chapter 7. Let's first look at Revelation 6:7-8 again.
Revelation 6:7-8—
7 And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say: Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat upon it was death; and sheol; the grave, followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with pestilence—the same under the authority of the beast of the earth.

Revelation Chapter 7 shows this nuclear part of the war is held back for Yahweh's Servants.
Revelation 7:1-3—
1 And after these things I saw four messengers standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another Malak ascending from the east, having the Seal of the living Father; and he cried with a loud voice to the four messengers, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying: Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the Servants of our Father in their foreheads.

But we see in Revelation Chapter 9 that it will be loosed.
Revelation 9:14, 18—
14 Saying to the Last Malak which had the trumpet: Loose the four messengers who are bound in the great River Euphrates!
18 By these three were the third part of man killed: by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

If these wars were not held back, the earth would have been darkened by October 13, 2007 as Daniyl shows.
The 7-year peace plan was signed September 13, 1993 and went into effect October 13, 1993. It was shut down April 13, 1997. That was 3½ years of action.
The peace plan stayed shut down for 7 years. It was signed back into action April 13, 2004 by former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and U.S. President George W. Bush.
October 13, 2007 completed the time period of the 7 years of action. But remember the wars are held back until:
Revelation 7:3—
Saying: Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the Servants of our Father in their foreheads.

With the above information, we see the nuclear wars prophesied for this last 3½ years are not ready to take place.
Mattithyah 24:7, 21-22, 29—

15 And the four messengers were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a moon; month, and a year, in order to slay the third part of man.

The four shown here are the Quartet that is shown in Revelation 7:3 to be held back.
Revelation 7:3—
Saying: Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the Servants of our Father in their foreheads.

The four in Revelation Chapter 6 are the same Quartet and they will start nuclear wars that will kill a third part of man over a fourth part of the earth.
Revelation 6:8—
And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat upon it was death; and sheol; the grave, followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with pestilence—the same under the authority of the beast of the earth.

This is the Message preached by the Witness that Daniyl saw and spoke of in Daniyl 12:5-7 and the Savior spoke of in:
Mattithyah 24:14—
And this Message of the Kingdom will be preached to all the world by the One who bears witness to all nations; and then The End will come.

The darkening of the sun brings the final end that was held back, as we see in the following Scriptures.
Revelation 6:12—
And I looked when He had opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.
Zephanyah 1:14-15—
14 The Great Day of Yahweh is near, it is near, and hastening quickly; the sound of the Day of Yahweh is bitter, the mighty men will cry there.
15 That day is a day of Judgment, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
Revelation 6:8, 12-13—
8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat upon it was death; and sheol; the grave, followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with pestilence—the same under the authority of the beast of the earth.
12 And I looked when He had opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree drops its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
Mattithyah 24:29—
Immediately, but after the Great Tribulation of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

When will the nations be allowed to bring these wars? We are shown in certain words and dates given by the Inspired Prophets. Remember, the nuclear destruction that hurts the earth, seas and trees is what is held back out of "all these things" spoken of in Daniyl 12:1, 7 and Revelation 7:3.

This nuclear destruction is shown with the 7-year peace plan. The nuclear destruction is held back for Yahweh's People and its time of release is shown to Yahweh's People. Notice the words to listen for.
I Thessalonians 5:1-3—
1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I should write to you.
2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of Yahweh so comes as a thief in the night.
3 For when they will say: Peace—true peace, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a woman with child; and they will not escape.

Watch and listen for these words as you see the 7-year peace agreement being pushed forward by President Bush and the 50 nations that signed it on November 27, 2007.

Remember the Savior's Words in:
Mattithyah 24:13—
But he who endures until The End, the same will be saved.

The End is the assigned nuclear burning, predicted for the nations—governments of and by the people.
Daniyl 7:11-14—
11 I beheld, then, because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke; I beheld until the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their governments taken away; yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they were brought together before Him.
14 And there was given Him Ruling Authority, and Glory, and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should obey Him; His Government is an Everlasting Government, which will not pass away; and His Kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.

Notice what else was spoken of by the Savior.
Mattithyah 24:29—
Immediately, but after the Great Tribulation of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

That's the destructive end given by Daniyl also.
Daniyl 12:1—
And at that time will Micahyah stand up, the great ruler who stands for the children of your people; and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation to that same time. And at that time your people will be delivered, everyone who will be found written in The Book of Life.

The Savior pronounces a special blessing on those who endure past the time shown as The End by Daniyl's Prophecies.
Mattithyah 24:13—
But he who endures until The End, the same will be saved.

The Savior also recognizes the Work of Yahweh in the same time period saying.
Mattithyah 24:14—
And this Message of the Kingdom will be preached to all the world by the One who bears witness to all nations; and then The End will come.

The Prophet Daniyl gives the same date and time period and shows this special blessing on Yahweh's People.
Daniyl 12:10—
Many will be purified, and made white, and tried; tested; but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.

Notice in verse 10, there is a trying period when many will be purified, made white, and tried. Then, in the next two verses, Daniyl shows this trying period is a 45-day period.
Daniyl 12:11—
And from the time that the daily sacrifice will be taken away, and the lord of heaven set up, there will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Daniyl 12:12—
Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty five days.

If you subtract 1290 from 1335 you get 45 (1335-1290=45 days).
The time of The End in proving Yahweh's People is shown to be the end of the 7-year peace plan confirmed with Rabin.
It started October 13, 1993.
It shut down April 13, 1997.
It stayed shut down for 7 years.
It was signed back into action April 13, 2004 by U.S. President George W. Bush and former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

The end of the 7-year peace plan, including the time or 7 years it was shut down, was 14 years after it started on October 13, 1993. October 13, 2007 is when it ended with the devastating nuclear wars held back. They haven't been cancelled, they're just held back until the remnant of Yahweh's Kingdom is tried and sealed.

If you count from October 13, 2007 to November 27, 2007, you will get 45 days. These 45 days were a time of testing for Yahweh's People.
Daniyl 12:10, 12—
10 Many will be purified, and made white, and tried; tested; but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.
12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty five days.

Some did not understand that October 13, 2007 marked the end of the test for some who qualified for offices in Yahweh's Kingdom, as seen in the last part of Daniyl 12:7. That's not all the offices, nor is it all the testing, as is shown in Daniyl 12:10-12; nor is it the final end when the sun will be darkened. Notice:
Daniyl 12:6—
...how long till the end of these wonders?
Daniyl 12:7—
...time, times, and a half, when Yahweh will have accomplished pouring out His Power through His Holy People, all these will be finished.

The Hebrew word translated finished in verse 7, according to all Hebrew authorities, means determined, the end of a process or action, successfully completing something, making a firm decision about someone or thing.

There are two things shown here.
1. The decision concerning the end of Yahweh's test for certain people (verse 7).
2. The decision concerning when to let the nuclear wars take place, because preparing Yahweh's People is part of the end project, and the end of the nuclear wars that will darken the sun.

Remember the wars are shown in:
Revelation 7:2-3—
2 And I saw another Malak ascending from the east, having the Seal of the living Father; and he cried with a loud voice to the four messengers, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying: Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the Servants of our Father in their foreheads.

These are the nuclear wars that are shown in Revelation Chapters 6 and 9, that are held back, not letting them proceed in the end time shown by Daniyl and announced by the Last Days' Witness, until Yahweh's People are firmly proven for the jobs ahead.

From Strong's Expanded Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible we see the meaning of the Hebrew words translated take away, which is word #5493, can mean behead, bring or call back.

The word sacrifice was added. The Hebrew word translated daily is word #8548 in Strong's Expanded Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible and means:

Remember Daniyl is not speaking of sacrifices but the 7-year peace plan that shows the end of these things. Now notice what the other Hebrew authoritative books say about the translation of this verse.
Daniyl 12:11-12—
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice will be taken away, and the lord of heaven set up, there will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty five days.

The words daily sacrifice that are written in Daniyl 12:11 are translated from the Hebrew word tamid. This word is listed on page 1477 of A Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament by Julius Furst, which shows this word means extension or continuance of time.

The words will be taken away are translated from the Hebrew word husar. This word is listed on page 574 of the Analytical Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon by Benjamin Davidson, which shows this word means to draw near.

The word lord, written abomination in most translations, is translated from the Hebrew word shaqutz. This word is from A Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament by Julius Furst, page 1483; and pages 1640-1641, 1646, and 1702-1704 of The Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon of the Old Testament by Koehler and Baumgartner, which show this word means to contaminate (infect with deadly microorganisms), the abhorrent customs of the Canaanites, by which is meant in particular sexual perversity (and in special cases sodomy), prostitution, adultery, and moral transgressions.

The word heaven, written desolation in most translations, is translated from the Hebrew word shamam. This word is listed on page 1564 of Volume 4 of The Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon of the Old Testament by Koehler and Baumgartner, which shows this word means to be cut off from life (death).

The word waits that is written in Daniyl 12:12 is translated from the Hebrew word hamachakah. This word is listed on page 442 of A Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament by Julius Furst, which shows this word means to hold on firmly, to cling to, to trust, to hope.

A Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament by Julius Furst, page 55, shows that in the original Hebrew of the Holy Scriptures a number can be translated as a cardinal number, such as one, two, three, etc. or it can be translated as an ordinal number such as first, second, third, etc. This means that the cardinal number one thousand three hundred and thirty-five is still correctly translated when it is written as the ordinal number one thousand three hundred and thirty-fifth.

Correctly translated these verses read as follows:
Daniyl 12:11-12—
11 And from the time that a continuation will draw near, and the lord of heaven, the abomination of desolation, that is the cause of the deadly diseases and their effects by the many sexual perversions is set up, there will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who holds fast, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-fifth day.

In verse 11, we see continuation. Continuation means a beginning again. We see this in Webster's Dictionary.
con·tin·u·a·tion n. 1. a continuing 2 a beginning again; resumption 3 a part added; a sequel

Daniyl is speaking of the 7-year peace plan that stopped in the midst, leaving a time left to be continued after a 7-year shut down. Daniyl wrote from the time the continuation will draw near to the end of the 3½-year period is 1290 days. Three and one-half years is 1277 days; 1290 is 13 days past the length of 3½ years. But The End ends with the 3½ years or 1277 days. So the 13 days goes before the 3½ years with the time the order was to start the peace plan up again or as the Hebrew word means, "call it back again".

Was the order given? Yes! Thirteen days before the actual 3½-year peace plan was prophesied to go back into action the order was given by the Catholic Church.

The end of the last 3½ years was October 13, 2007, exactly 14 years after it was started by late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, the late PLO leader Yasser Arafat and former US President Bill Clinton. The peace plan was signed by these three men September 13, 1993 and began October 13, 1993.

One thousand two hundred ninety days before October 13, 2007 the order was given as the Prophet Daniyl shows us in Daniyl 12:11. One thousand two hundred ninety days before the end of the last time or last 3½ years of the 7-year peace plan would take us back to March 31, 2004. This was 13 days before the prophesied time for the last 3½ years left of the peace plan to start. Notice the date on the news article below.

  Stopping foreign aid to the Palestinians would be a "humanitarian disaster," he said and Israel would be blamed.
   Sharon said, "The world will not allow the stalemate to continue. The stalemate will inevitably bring a flood of international initiatives," and Israeli's vital interests would not be taken into account.

Notice on the same day, March 31, 2004, the Palestinian prime minister gave the same speech, having taken orders from the same leader of the nations.

   "The Gaza pullout proposal could be a change [to revive peace moves] and we all should work together to seize this chance in a wise and
   courageous manner," Prime minister Ahmed Qureia told lawmakers in the West Bank city of Ramallah in his most positive comments to date on the Israeli plan.
   "For this pullout to be meaningful, it should open the way for resuming the peace process and completing it by fully pulling out from the West Bank as well," he said on the eve of a visit by senior U.S. envoys to the region.
   Qureia said any West Bank pullout should not replace the U.S.-backed road map, "but rather be a step on the way to implementing it."

Pope Condemns Israeli Separation Barrier
VATICAN - Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia meets Thursday with Pope John Paul who received PM during a private audience in his library at the Vatican, the Pope repeated his condemnation of the barrier Israel is building in the West Bank. TEXT: Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon expressed concern about Europe's negative attitude toward his country in a meeting that lasted more than an hour. The Israeli leader arrived in Italy, which holds the rotating presidency of the European Union until the end of this year.
   In a recent opinion poll, E-U citizens put Israel at the top of a list of countries considered a "threat to world peace."
   Foreign Minister Franco Frattini reassured Mr. Sharon that there are a number of issues on which Europe feels very close to Israel. These include the fight against anti-semitism and terrorism and the need for Israel to be able to guarantee the security of its citizens.
   Mr. Sharon thanked Italy for its support, describing it as Israel's best friend in Europe. Since taking on the E-U presidency in July, Rome has tried to build warmer relations between Israel and the European Union.

I do not detail these things now since we are currently negotiating with the Americans. There have been many meetings since I announced to the Americans, at a meeting in Rome last November, that I thought we should pursue a different plan. At that time, I presented them with the principles of the Disengagement Plan.

   Prime Minister Ariel Sharon this afternoon (Wednesday) 7-4-2004, spoke with UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, who had phoned in order to express his support for the disengagement plan and the step that Israel is taking.
   Prime Minister Sharon said that he decided to proceed with the disengagement plan because there is no partner on the Palestinian side who is ready to implement the roadmap.
   The two leaders agreed to continue their dialogue after they visit Washington.

History And Structure
   The Middle East Quartet emerged from a desire among the four principal international players engaged in the peace process—the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, and the Russian Federation—to consult more closely over the Middle East conflict and its resolution.
   In its meeting on 10 April 2002, the Quartet laid the foundations for what later became the Roadmap. The Roadmap defines parameters and steps to be taken by both Israelis and Palestinians to end the bloodshed and settle the conflict between the two parties, resulting in the existence of two states in the region, living side by side in peace and security.
   ...the Roadmap is a three-phase plan aimed at achieving a final and comprehensive settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, on the basis of a goal-driven and performance-based approach. Background: Retreat Puts State A Photo Op Away Under Roadmap?

   It is noteworthy that the Roadmap not only declines to provide for measurable standards of Palestinian security performance in either phase one or phase two, it gives the Quartet the exclusive right to determine if Palestinian activity is sufficient to warrant the formation of a sovereign state. Even if it is grossly obvious that the Palestinians have failed to perform by any standard, the Road Map allows the Quartet to give the green light to a sovereign state since the Quartet is to judge the situation "taking into account performance of both parties." Thus the Quartet can even concede that the Palestinians haven't done much but then argue that "both parties have failed equally in their performance" and thus it is possible to progress to a sovereign state.
   That's the Quartet-not the U.S. The Road Map gives no special standing to the U.S. within the Quartet, so even if the U.S. is not satisfied with Palestinian performance this is no guarantee that the Road Map won't march on to a Palestinian state.
  In sharp contrast to "final and comprehensive permanent status agreement that ends the Israel-Palestinian state formed in phase two is "through a process of Israel-Palestinian engagement." The term "engagement" does not require negotiations. In fact, Sharon's retreat and the Palestinian take-over of control of evacuated areas could readily be construed as "a process of Israeli-Palestinian engagement."
   To summarize: a retreat from the Gaza Strip that relies on the terms of reference of the Road Map creates conditions that allow the Quartet to decide to sanction the formation of a sovereign Palestinian state within evacuated areas-regardless of the actual performance of the Palestinians. Once this happens the key requirement of the Israeli security establishment-control of entry and exit via land air and sea from the Gaza Strip-will be beyond Israel's reach as Israel's blockade of a sovereign Gaza is challenged by various nations.
   The U.S. State Department April 30 (2004) released the text of the "roadmap" to a permanent solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The roadmap specifies the steps for the two parties to take to reach a settlement, and a timeline for doing so, under the auspices of the Quartet-the United States, the European Union, the United Nations, and Russia.

The Vatican Agenda

   Instead of taking what they believe seriously, we tend to snicker amongst ourselves when we see those pictures of obscure rituals and ceremonies and think the whole religion is near pagan-like with the "eating of Holy Wafers" and "sprinkling of Baptism water" on people's heads. That may be true, but that doesn't matter. What matters is what they believe and what they plan to do about making their beliefs become a reality...
...This essay will provide the background to that deal, as well as what the Vatican's intentions are regarding Israel and The Old City of Jerusalem. It will reveal which Israeli politicians made certain commitments to The Vatican regarding the issue of sovereignty in the Old City of Jerusalem. These negotiations and meetings were all carried out in secret.

What Does The Vatican Want?
   It can't be that the Vatican is only interested in "access to their Holy Sites" in Jerusalem. They already have that as well as legal jurisdiction under Israeli law for their institutions and assets in Jerusalem. Also, when these "Holy Sites" were under the jurisdiction of the Jordanians from 1948-1967, no Pope demanded the "internationalization of Jerusalem."
   It is something else, which the Vatican wants. The Roman Catholic Church needs to have certain versions of events be played out for them to stand in front of mankind and proclaim: our Messiah has returned. Of course, to the Jews, this Messiah will be as false as the first one was supposed to be. Doesn't matter. This is the goal of the Vatican and this is what all Israelis need to worry about.
   Make no mistake about it. The Old City of Jerusalem, as well as most of the eastern half of the city, is what The Vatican is after.

Why?
   Because controlling the entire Old City of Jerusalem (and not just Church properties) and being able to build whatever they want on Mount Zion is critical for the program they have planned to put into play in our capital city. The deal that it has signed with Israel via Yossi Beilin and Shimon Peres (in secret and without the approval of the Knesset) gives The Church not only extraterritorial status to their properties (which is what the bi-lateral agreement the Israeli government signed with the Vatican on December 30th, 1993, put in law) but of control over the entire city as "custodians" under UN presence. In this way the Jews will give up control over the Old City.

September, 1993
   On the 10th of September, just three days before the signing of the Oslo Accords Washington, the Italian newspaper La Stampa reported that then Foreign Minister Shimon Peres concluded a secret deal with the Vatican to hand over sovereignty of Jerusalem's Old City to the Vatican. The agreement and it was included in the secret clauses of the Declaration of Principles signed on September 13th, 1993 in Washington, DC.
   In the same week that Israeli Foreign Minister and chief Oslo architect Shimon Peres signed the Declaration of Principles with Yasser Arafat in Washington, the Israel-Vatican commission held a special meeting in Israel. Under the Vatican agreement the Israelis would give over control the Old City to the Vatican before the year 2000. The plan also calls for Jerusalem to become the second Vatican of the world with all three major religions represented but under the authority of the Vatican. Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel but the Old City will be administered by the Vatican.
   Arafat agreed to the plan just before the famous "handshake" in 1993, but when he realized that the Vatican was also going to let Israel share in the temple mount, he rejected it.

March 1995
   A cable from the Israeli Embassy in Rome to The Foreign Ministry was in Jerusalem is leaked to radio station Arutz Sheva, confirming the handover of Jerusalem to the Vatican. Two days later, the cable made front page of Haaretz. In the widely distributed minutes of a meeting with President Clinton in 1997, Peres ended the cable with the words, "as I had previously promised the Holy See."

October 2000
   In a speech to the United Nations on October 30th, Archbishop Renato Martino declared: "The 'unique character' of Jerusalem as a city sacred to three great religions makes it essential that religious leaders, not politicians, control the holy sites." In his meeting on October 26th with Lebanese Ambassador to the Vatican, Fouad Aoun, Pope John Paul II said that the city of Jerusalem should be given "specially guaranteed international status."

We see in verse 2 that the temple mount is given to the nations (Gentiles). Notice in the last paragraph of the previous article, "international status". International means between or among nations, for the use of all nations. But remember, this is under the authority of the Vatican.

Vatican Israeli Agreement On Jerusalem
"In 1994, the Vatican had signed an agreement with Israel to gain sovereignty over Jerusalem. The city would stay the capital of Israel, but would be administered by the Vatican. The city would have an Israeli mayor and a Palestinian mayor, both under orders from the Pope. Jerusalem would become a second Vatican."

   Israel's peace accord with the Palestinians sped up negotiations for diplomatic ties with the Vatican that will finalize on Dec. 29, Israel television reported Tuesday.
Until now, the Vatican refused to recognize Israel, citing its treatment of Palestinians, a desire not to offend Arab states with Christian minorities and a question of confiscated church property.

   On October 25, 1994, the Holy See announced that the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Holy See will exchange representations to be "open channels for continuing the development of mutual relations, understanding and cooperation"... It was decided to give to the already long-existing and fruitful working contacts a permanent and official character. The Palestine Liberation Organization will, therefore, open an office of representation at the Holy See, with its own director.
   On February 15, 2000, John Paul II received Arafat and a delegation for the signing of a Basic Agreement between the Holy See and the Palestinian Liberation Organization, as the representative of the Palestinian National Authority.

Palestinians Sign Catholic Deal
   The Palestinian Authority has signed an agreement with the Vatican giving it an official footing in Palestinian areas, and calling for an "equitable solution" to the contentious issue of Jerusalem.
   The accord-signed as Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat held talks with Pope John Paul II in Rome-warned Israel that unilateral decisions on Jerusalem were "morally and legally unacceptable."
   The deal also calls for an international statute for disputed Jerusalem in order to safeguard "the proper identity and sacred character of the city and its universally significant religious and cultural heritage."
   Previously, the Vatican has called Israel's annexation of East Jerusalem illegal and said it does not recognize Israeli sovereignty there.
   The final status of the city is due to be decided in currently-stalled talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

Pope And Powell Meet, Discuss Reconstruction of Iraq
  VATICAN CITY—Pope John Paul II and Secretary of State Colin Powell discussed the reconstruction of Iraq on Monday during the first high-level U.S.-Vatican talks since the pontiff voiced opposition to the war.
   The two men met alone in the pope's study for 30 minutes, twice as long as scheduled.
  Powell and John Paul also discussed U.S.-led efforts to forge a settlement between Israelis and Palestinians with a plan, known as the "road map" that envisions two separate states.
   Immediately before receiving Powell, the pope met with the new Israeli ambassador to the Holy See, using the occasion to press the Vatican's position that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be resolved only "when there are two independent and sovereign states."
   The pope, in receiving Ambassador Oded Ben-Hur, encouraged the Israelis and Palestinians to make progress in this week's talks with President Bush.
   Powell met with the Vatican's secretary of state and foreign minister before leaving for the Middle East, where top level Israeli, Palestinian and other Arab leaders will be involved in talks with the Bush administration.

   Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Wednesday evening that Israel must unilaterally pull out of areas that it will clearly not control in the framework of a final peace accord, warning that a continued stalemate in the Israel-Palestinian conflict would lead to international initiatives that are unfavorable to Israel.
   Defending his unilateral disengagement plan in a speech in Tel Aviv, Sharon said that there is no Palestinian partner for peace negotiations, and so Israel had to take its own action.
   He warned that if violence continues, international donors have said they could not maintain their contributions to the Palestinians, which he said support 1.8 million people.
  Stopping foreign aid to the Palestinians would be a "humanitarian disaster, he said and Israel would be blamed.
   Sharon said, "The world will not allow the stalemate to continue. The stalemate will inevitably bring a flood of international initiatives," and Israeli's vital interests would not be taken into account.
   "Israel must take a step that will prevent political collapse," Sharon said. "It must reduce the friction between Israelis and Palestinians by leaving the Gaza Strip.

   The Palestinian prime minister on Wednesday voiced hope for the first time that an Israeli pullout from the Gaza Strip could revive peace moves but said it must be accompanied by withdrawal from the West Bank.
   "The Gaza pullout proposal could be a change [to revive peace moves] and we all should work together to seize this chance in a wise and courageous manner," Prime minister Ahmed Qureia told lawmakers in the West Bank city of Ramallah in his most positive comments to date on the Israeli plan.
   "For this pullout to be meaningful, it should open the way for resuming the peace process and completing it by fully pulling out from the West Bank as well," he said on the eve of a visit by senior U.S. envoys to the region.
   Qureia said any West Bank pullout should not replace the U.S.-backed road map, "but rather be a step on the way to implementing it."
