She is also shown as a great city that sits on seven hills.

And here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

The Basic Everyday Encyclopedia page 451 gives us the following information concerning these seven mountains (hills).
Rome (the "Eternal City"), ... Traditionally founded 753 BC by Romulus and Remus, built on 7 hills...

Compton's Pictured Encyclopedia, 1948, Volume 12, page 144, also tells us about the city of seven hills.
...the "City of Seven Hills." ...the Capitoline, Palatine, Aventine, Quirinal, Viminal, Esquiline, and Caelian hills. ...the seat of the papacy, the head of the great Roman Catholic Church.

She has brought forth sin by changing Yahweh's Laws (Isayah 24:4-5) and has created a world of drug addicts. Revelation 9:21 speaks of her sorceries and murders—over 46 million babies are murdered each year through abortion. Fornication, sodomy, adultery, and bestiality are strongly warned against in many Prophecies. Also in these Prophecies are the harmful effects and the results of sin that are sent into the earth and the atmosphere. The Prophets said that the false prophets and the people who follow them would be as Sodom and Gomorrah.

Yeremyah 23:14—
I have also seen in the prophets of Yerusalem a horrible thing^__they commit adultery and walk in lies; they turn from Yahweh and follow after the gods (elohim)! They also strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns back from his wickedness. All of them are like Sodom to Me, and her inhabitants are like Gomorrah.

The Apostle Shaul referred to them in the following ways:
Romans 1:18-32—
18 For the Justice of Yahweh is revealed from heaven concerning all unholiness and unrighteousness of men or women, who suppress the Truth in unrighteousness.
19 For that which is known about Yahweh is manifest to them, because Yahweh has shown it to them.
20 For since the creation of the world, the invisible things of Him are clearly seen^__His Eternal Power and Holiness^__being understood by the things that are written; so that they are without excuse.
21 Because that, when they knew Yahweh, they did not glorify Him as Father, nor were thankful, but became idolatrous; god-worshipers (worshipers of elohim), in their reasoning, and their senseless minds were darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools; simpletons,
23 And exchanged the Glory of the uncorruptible Father for images, made to resemble corruptible man, and birds, four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
24 Therefore, Yahweh also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own minds, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who exchanged the Truth of Yahweh for the lie; lords (baalim), gods, goddesses (elohim) and demons, and worshiped and served the creation, rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever. Praise Yahweh! HalleluYahweh!
26 For this reason it came to pass that they gave themselves up to degrading passions: for even their women exchanged the natural use into that which is against nature.
27 And the men did the same thing: leaving the natural use of the woman, they burned in their lusts for one another; men committing shameful acts with men, and suffering in their own bodies the penalty for their error, which is their fitting reward.
28 And so, since they did not like to retain Yahweh in their knowledge, it came to pass that they were given over to deadly diseases that damaged their brains, robbing them of Righteous Judgment, thus doing those things which are perverted;
29 Causing to arise all unrighteousness, sexual impurity, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; total envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They even practice sorcery and witchcraft to protect themselves from these deadly plagues,
30 They are backbiters; slanderers, haters of Yahweh, despiteful, arrogant, and boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 And without understanding. They are Covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable; truce breakers, and unmerciful:
32 Who, knowing the Righteous Judgment of Yahweh, that those who practice such things deserve death, not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them.

These verses are referring to sexual sins—sodomy, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, bestiality, and of course pedophilia.

According to the written words of the late Malachi Martin, one of the top writers of the Catholic Church, pedophilia is only one of the acts of worship coming from the gods, which Scripture calls demons. The following excerpt is from The Keys of This Blood, page 632.

It was what knowledgeable Churchmen called the "superforce." Rumors, always difficult to verify, tied its installation to the beginning of Pope Paul VIs reign in 1963. Indeed, Paul had alluded somberly to "the smoke of Satan which has entered the Sanctuary"an oblique reference to an enthronement ceremony by Satanists in the Vatican. Besides, the incidence of Satanic pedophilia—rites and practices—was already documented among certain bishops and priests as widely dispersed as Turin, in Italy, and South Carolina, in the United States. The cultic acts of Satanic pedophilia are considered by professionals to be the culmination of the Fallen Archangel's rites.

Please understand, the sins of the Catholic Church are many but all sins, no matter what they are, add to the harmful effects that bring harm to all the things with which the earth creeps.

Oddly enough, one of the reasons mankind was created was to guard against the defilement of the earth and our food supply. This information is found in the Hebrew words used in the Book of Genesis but it's somewhat obscure in the English translations. Back to sin and defilement. The Prophet Isayah was inspired to write that changing Yahweh's Laws is the cause for the earth being defiled. Again notice:
Isayah 24:1-6—
1 Before Yahweh's very eyes, the earth is made empty and it is made waste; the face of it is perverted and its inhabitants scattered abroad;
2 And it will be: as with the people, so with the priests; as with the servant, so with his owner; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with him who takes usury, so with him who gives usury to him:
3 The land will be utterly emptied and utterly plundered, for it has come to pass that this Judgment has been pronounced.
4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world mourns and fades away, and the haughty people of the earth languish.
5 The earth also is defiled because of the inhabitants of it, because they have transgressed the Laws, changed the Ordinance, and broken the Everlasting Covenant.
6 Because of this, the curse has devoured the earth, and they who dwell therein are desolate; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Notice verse 4 again.

The earth mourns and fades away, the world mourns and fades away, and the haughty people of the earth languish.

The word translated earth means earth but it also means everything on and in the earth. In the King James Version, in Genesis, the phrase "everything that creepeth upon the earth" is written. However, the Hebrew meaning is "all the things with which the earth creeps". This takes into account what science calls microorganisms, microscopic animals, plants, bacteria, viruses, etc.

In fact, each handful of earth is teaming with thousands of kingdoms of microorganisms. These kingdoms are what keeps the earth alive and actively producing our food supply. They work together to both clean and turn everything that dies into reusable substances for the fruits, grains, and vegetables for man and his animals, even the fish and birds.

If all the microorganisms were to die, food production would stop, which means famines and starvation. These microorganisms can be killed out of the earth in many different ways. I ask you to please consider what Yahweh says now, because the earth is getting into bad shape. Back to:

The Hebrew word translated fades means to fall or fail, come to nought, deteriorate, make vile, deprave, sick.

As you can see, Yahweh has prophesied that mankind is, through sins, defiling, making sick, and making to fall, or fail all the creeping things with which the earth creeps (kingdoms of microorganisms) in the earth and atmosphere. Now notice verse 5:

The earth also is defiled because of the inhabitants of it, because they have transgressed the Laws, changed the Ordinance, and broken the Everlasting Covenant.

The Hebrew word for defile means to corrupt, containing alterations, errors, desecrate, to violate the sacredness of; to make unclean or impure, or poison.

The earth is so defiled at this time that science is scrambling to find drugs for the animals, birds and fish just as they are for people to prolong their lives. But the bugs are getting more resistant to the drugs and the earth, people, animals, birds, and fish are getting less resistant.

New Strain Of Norovirus Hits Hard
BOSTON, April 1, 2007
(CBS) Six weeks ago, 82-year-old Roccina Scuvera battled a wicked stomach bug.
  "I was throwing up, I had a headache," she said. "It was not pleasant."
The norovirus had just paid a visit to Massachusetts' largest nursing home, Hebrew SeniorLife, reports CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller.
  The norovirus is a very common virus. By the age of four, almost every child has had some form. But the virus that hit Hebrew SeniorLife was a new strain: stronger, longer lasting, and more contagious.
  In approximately 36 hours, beginning on February 21, the norovirus quickly spread from one unit of five people to at least three or four other floors. The virus passed from person to person by touch or through food.
  Nurses at SeniorLife quickly found that the hospital germicidals they used had no effect on the virus...
  In 25 years of practice, Dr. Robert Schreiber, physician-in-chief at Hebrew SeniorLife, says he has never seen anything so contagious.
  "The bug was the worst we have ever seen in terms of outbreaks," he said. "The way it's spread, despite the fact we were prepared for this, demonstrated that we were dealing with something new. We have had flu outbreaks here that were nothing compared to what we experienced here."
  Major outbreaks of norovirus have been reported nationwide this season. In addition to nursing homes, outbreaks have overwhelmed colleges, prisons, elementary schools, and cruise ships. Preliminary studies conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show at least 60 percent of the outbreaks this winter were of a new strain, the Minerva II, named after the cruise ship upon which it was first detected.
  Norovirus mutations are different from the development of increasingly resistant bacteria, which doctors attribute to the overuse of manmade antibiotics. Researchers like Widdowson at the CDC are trying to explain the surge in norovirus not only in the United States, but worldwide, but they have no answer yet.
  Dr. Schreiber says the emerging presence of organisms more resistant and contagious than ever before has the facility expecting more outbreaks...
