So Where Is The Hope?

The hope is in the Law that states those who sin must be corrected. Yahweh's plan is this: He created mankind with the purpose of bringing forth people who would keep His Laws, thereby becoming perfect through righteous behavior even as Yahweh and the Savior are righteous. Yahweh said these people would be given power and authority.

Genesis 1:26—
Then Yahweh said: I will make man in My image, according to My likeness; they will have rulership over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

The Priest Abel was the first person Scripture shows to achieve this perfection.

Genesis 4:4-7—
4 And Abel, besides bringing his offering of the fruit of the ground, also brought a sacrifice of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat. And Yahweh honored Abel and his offerings;
5 But He did not honor Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
6 So Yahweh said to Cain: Why are you angry? Why are you downcast?
7 If you do righteousness, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do righteousness, sin is crouching at your door. The desire to sin is with you, but you must overcome it!

Notice, Yahweh honors righteousness but will not honor those who break His Laws, nor should He. By breaking Yahweh's Laws, one causes curses, such as sickness, disease, hatred, war and death, to come upon himself and others. If you break the Law that states you must not steal, you cause hatred, which can result in murder.
