Which
Day Is The Sabbath Of The New Testament?
Every Sunday morning, millions
of professing Christians throughout the world hurry to get ready to
attend the church of their choice. Some of these professing Christians
drudgingly sit through Sunday School, then a sermon, and then go their
way, feeling they have done their duty for the week. They feel the
Heavenly Father is now looking upon them in approval.
Only a few people ever read their Bibles to see what Yahweh's will really is. Those few who do read their Bibles, however, see that the teachings of the Holy Scriptures are far different than what is being taught in the churches.
Some people stop attending church because they have found through their reading of the Holy Scriptures that their Bible teaches one thing, and their church teaches another!
One example of the erroneous teaching of the Christian churches, in opposition to what the Bible actually says, concerns the one and only sign our Savior gave to prove He was the true Messiah.
Mattithyah 12:39-40—
39 So He answered, and
said to them: An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and
no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yahnah:
40 For as Yahnah was three days and
three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be
three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Yahnah was exactly three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish.
Yahnah
1:17—
Now Yahweh had prepared a great fish to swallow up Yahnah. And Yahnah
was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Despite this scriptural fact pointed out by the Messiah Himself, the Christian churches teach that the Savior was put in the grave on "good'' Friday afternoon, and that He rose from the dead on Sunday morning.
Count this for yourself, brethren. There are not three days and three nights in that time sequence. Due to these false teachings by the churches and assemblies, there are many who believe that ``No one in the world can understand Scriptures, and that the Bible is a fairy tale.''
The Good Friday burial to Sunday morning resurrection is not taught in the Holy Scriptures! This false doctrine is merely the assumption of teachers who are deceived. The Bible is very clear about when Yahshua was placed in the grave and when He was resurrected.
By letting Scripture interpret Scripture, we come to the ultimate conclusion that Yahshua was placed in the grave on a Wednesday at sunset; and He was resurrected on the Saturday Sabbath, as it ended at sunset. Yahshua was in the grave Wednesday night, Thursday day, Thursday night, Friday day, Friday night, and Saturday day—exactly the length of the sign Yahshua gave (three nights and three days) to prove He was the true Messiah.
By the very teachings of the churches and assemblies, they call Yahshua a liar, and not the true Messiah! For in-depth information on this subject, write for our free booklet, Was The Resurrection On Sunday?
Sunday
Authority?
Many people professing to be followers of the Holy Scriptures base their belief for hallowing Sunday as a day of rest and worship on the false doctrine that the Messiah was resurrected on Sunday morning! With this doctrine exposed as a lie, what authority is there for keeping Sunday?
What Day Is The Sabbath?
The Sabbath is first mentioned in the Book of Genesis.
Genesis 2:2-3__
2 And on the Seventh Day
Yahweh ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the Seventh Day from all His work which He had
done.
3 Then Yahweh blessed the Seventh Day
and set it apart to be holy, because in it He rested from all the work which Yahweh
had created and made.
The Holy Scriptures say the Seventh Day is the day when Yahweh rested. He therefore blessed this day.
The definition of the word Saturday in Webster's Student Dictionary, page 727, is: the seventh and last day of the week.
The definition of the word Sunday in Webster's Student Dictionary, page 823 is: the first day of the week.
Exodus 31:15—
For six days work shall
be done, but the Seventh
Day is the Sabbath of rest, holy to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on the
Sabbath Day, he shall surely be put to death.
The seventh day is still the Sabbath day. Many examples of men breaking the Sabbath are recorded in the Bible. Breaking Yahweh's Sabbath cut us off from Him.
Numbers
15:32-35—
32 While the children of
Israyl were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the
Sabbath Day.
33 And those who found
him gathering sticks brought him to Mosheh and Aaron, and to all the
congregation.
34 They kept him in
custody because it was not clear what should be done to him.
35 Then Yahweh said to
Mosheh: The man
must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall
stone him with stones outside the camp.
This man deliberately disobeyed this Law and Yahweh plainly tells us that the prophesied judgment for sin is death.
Yechetzqyah 18:4—
Behold, all souls are
Mine. Just as the soul of the father, so
also the soul of the son is Mine; the soul that sins, it will die.
Romans 6:23—
For the wages of sin is
death; but the gift of Yahweh is eternal life through Yahshua Messiah,
our Savior.
In contrast, Yahweh promises special blessings on those who hallow and keep the Sabbath day.
Isayah
58:13-14—
13 If you turn away your foot from breaking the
Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your
own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call
the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of Yahweh
honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your
own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle
conversation:
14 Then you will find your joy in Yahweh; and I will cause
you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the
heritage of Yaaqob your father__for
the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.
The Sabbath Of The New Testament
What doctrine does the New Testament hold to be the Sabbath? Did the Savior change the Sabbath when He walked and taught on this earth? Many deceived preachers teach that He did. The Scriptures teach that the Messiah was an example for us.
I
Kepha 2:21—
For to this you were called: to do righteousness, because
for this: doing righteousness, Messiah
also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His
steps.
Luke 4:16—
Then He went to Nazareth
where He had been brought up; and, as His custom was, He went into
the synagogue on the Sabbath Day, and He stood up
in order to read.
As Yahshua's custom was, so should ours be! The four books of Mattithyah, Yahchanan Mark, Luke and Yahchanan outline the life of Yahshua Messiah while He was here on this earth.
Was this the seventh day Sabbath, or did our Savior change it to Sunday, the first day of the week?
Luke
23:56—
...they rested the Sabbath day
according to the commandment.
Yahshua did not abrogate the Law of Yahweh in any way! Yahshua taught the Laws of Yahweh. Yahshua commanded the Laws of Yahweh be kept.
Mattithyah 5:17-19—
17 Do not even think that I have come to
destroy the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to destroy them,
but to establish them.
18 For truly I say to
you; Unless
heaven and earth passes away, one yodh—the smallest of the letters—will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected.
19 Whosoever, therefore,
will break one of the least Laws, and will teach men so, he will be
called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them,
the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh.
Yahshua's followers would not even break the seventh day Sabbath to go to the grave of Yahshua. Luke 23:56 "...according to the Commandment.'' The Ten Commandments are in Exodus 20. Exodus 20:8 says, "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.''
In Luke 24:1, the same followers of Yahshua who would not break the Sabbath day on the seventh day, came to Yahshua's tomb on the first day.
The First Day Is A Work Day!
In Mattithyah Chapter 24 it is recorded the disciples of Yahshua came to Him privately, and asked Him about certain events prophesied to take place. One of these events was the end of this present age.
Mattithyah 24:3—
Now as He sat on the
Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying; Tell us,
when will these things be? What will be
the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?
The Messiah predicted a time of trouble that would get so severe that Yahweh would have to cut it short to keep all flesh from being destroyed from the earth.
Mattithyah 24:21-22—
21 For then will be great tribulation, such as has not come to pass
since the beginning of the world to this time__no, nor ever will be.
22 And unless those days were
shortened, there would no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake,
those days will be shortened.
Yet, one of the things Yahshua told His followers to pray for during that end time, was that their flight be not on the Sabbath day.
Mattithyah
24:20—
But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath day.
Yahshua Messiah never changed the Sabbath day nor commanded it to be done away. Yahshua knew more than anyone on this earth knows.
Psalm
111:7-8—
7 The works of Your
hands are truth and judgment, and all Your Laws are sure;
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and
uprightness.
Did The Disciples Keep The Seventh Day?
Many deceived people believe the Apostle Shaul kept the first day of the week holy, because of his preaching in the Book of Acts, and his letter to the Corinthians.
A verse some of the Christian
churches use to justify their keeping Sunday is Acts 20:7, which reads in the King James Version, and most Bible versions, as:
Acts 20:7, KJV—
And upon the first day
of the week,
when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow,
and continued his speech until midnight.
This particular verse of Scripture has admittedly been left incorrectly translated over the years. Shown here is Acts 20:7 as it is written in the original Greek, from The Interlinear Bible by Jay Green, page 862.

As the original Greek shows, Acts 20:7, when correctly translated, is not saying that the Apostle Shaul was holding a religious service or preaching on the first day of the week, a Sunday. To the contrary, as it was originally written, this verse testifies that Shaul was preaching on one of the Sabbaths, namely, on the seventh day of one of the weeks of that particular year.
Acts 20:7—
On one of the Sabbaths, when the disciples came
together to break bread, Shaul spoke to them; and because he was ready
to leave the next day, continued his message until midnight.
But despite this fact that is admitted by authoritative scholars, these deceived churches and assemblies hang onto the admitted mistranslation of Acts 20:7, and will tell you that because Shaul preached on Sunday, we are to keep Sunday holy.
Days, according to Yahweh's timetable, begin at sunset, and end the following sunset.
Genesis
1:5—
And Yahweh called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And
the evening and then the morning were the
First Day.
The midnight mentioned in Acts 20:7 was therefore only a few hours after the sunset that had begun this Sabbath that was mentioned, or in other words, it was only a few hours into this Sabbath, and not after its end.
Shaul kept the Saturday
Sabbath holy. When the sun had set,
beginning this Saturday Sabbath day, the disciples got together to
listen to Shaul. Shaul preached until midnight that night of the
Sabbath, but everyone kept talking until the break of day (Acts
20:11),
which was still during this Sabbath day because
according to Yahweh's timetable for a day, this Sabbath day would not
end until the following sunset. Shaul departed then on Sunday, which is
the morrow (the following day) mentioned in Acts 20:7.
Shaul never taught or set any example that the Sabbath should be
changed! Shaul still kept the Passover (Acts 20:6)
and the Day of Pentecost (Feast of Weeks, Acts
20:16).
Shaul observed Sunday as a day to work and to travel.
In Shaul's letter to the Corinthians, Shaul wrote:
I Corinthians
16:2—
Upon the first of every week, let each of
you put
aside something in savings,
in proportion to what he is
given, so
that no collections will have to be
made when I come.
There was a severe famine that spread throughout the Roman World at that time, which included Yerusalem. Shaul was making a collection of food for the hungry Saints in Yerusalem.
However, there are a few unlearned and deceived people who think Shaul was taking up an offering of money on Sunday! According to The Outline of History, by H.G. Wells, pages 434-435, money would have been of little use, because of the scarcity of food. What the Saints needed was food.
Shaul said in I Corinthians 16:2: "Start working on Sunday, so when I get there, there will be no gatherings when I come!'' If you have ever gathered fruit, you know it is work, not rest.
We are commanded in Exodus 20:10 to rest on the Sabbath day. Shaul was not instructing these people to keep the first day holy: Shaul was instructing them to work on the first day.
I Yahchanan
3:4—
Whoever commits sin,
transgresses also the Law; for
sin is the transgression of the Law.
What Law was Yahchanan speaking of? The Law of Yahweh.
Yaaqob
2:10-11—
10 For whoever keeps the whole Law, and yet offends
in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For He Who said: Do not commit adultery, also said: Do not
murder. Now if you do not commit adultery, yet you do murder, you have
become a transgressor of the Law.
If you break just one point of
Yahweh's
Law, you are guilty of sin. Exodus 20:1-17 shows
ten points of Yahweh's Law, which are called the Ten Commandments. The
Sabbath day is one point of that Law. Another
Scripture Satan uses to deceive the world is:
Yahchanan 3:16—
For Yahweh so loved the
world that begotten Son of the only
Father was offered, that whosoever
believes in Him should not
perish, but have everlasting life.
If this Scripture says only to believe, why do we need to keep the Laws Of Yahweh? Do not be deceived. The Holy Scriptures say: Faith without works is dead! You cannot believe without keeping the Laws, Statutes, and Judgments of Yahweh, and you most certainly cannot receive eternal life!
Works are hearing and then doing Yahweh's Laws, Statutes, and Judgments. Only believing will not gain you everlasting life; you must have works!
Yaaqob 2:12-26—
12 So speak, and so do,
as those who are being judged by the
Law of liberty__
13 For the judgment will
be unmerciful to the one not
practicing mercy; but those
who practice mercy
will rejoice in judgment.
14 What does it profit,
my
brothers, if a man says he has faith, but does not have works?
The faith is not able to save him.
15 If a brother or
sister is naked, and destitute of daily
food,
16 And one of you says
to them: Depart in peace, be warmed and
filled; but you do not give them the things which are needed for the
body; what does
it profit?
17 In the same way, the faith, if it does not have
works, is dead,
being alone.
18 Yes, a man may say:
You have faith, and I have works. Show
me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my
works!
19 You believe that
there is one Father? You do well; the
demons also believe, and tremble.
20 But are you willing to
know, O vain man, that the faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our
father justified by works, when he had
offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Do you see that the
faith worked together with his works,
and by works of the faith was made perfect?
23 And the Scripture was
fulfilled which says: Abraham was
faithful in all The House of Yahweh, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness; and he was called the friend of Yahweh.
24 You see then that a man is also
justified by works, and not by the faith alone.
25 In the same way also,
was not Rachab the harlot justified
by works, when she had welcomed the messengers, and sent them
out another
way?
26 For just as the body without the spirit
is dead, so the faith
without works is dead also.
Eternal Life
Eternal Life is a free gift. It cannot be bought or earned! At our best we are as filthy rags to Yahweh.
Isayah 64:6—
But we are all like one
who is unclean, and all our
righteousnesses are as filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf,
and our iniquities, like the wind, will take us away.
There is no way we could earn eternal life by our righteous works! Yahweh shows in Yaaqob 2:12-26 that He will not give the free gift of eternal life to anyone who is unwilling to live by His Laws.
Satan has this whole world deceived.
Revelation 12:9—
And the great dragon was
cast out, that old serpent, called
the Devil, and Satan,
who deceives the whole world.
She was cast out into the earth, and her angels were cast out with her.
Satan deceives this world through false preachers who take only part of a Scripture and twist it to make it say or mean something it does not.
Psalm
56:5—
All day they twist our words. Against us
are their thoughts for evil.
II Kepha 3:16—
As also in all his
letters, speaking in them about these
things, in which are some things hard to be understood,
which those
who are unlearned and unstable twist, as they
also do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Read I Corinthians 16:2 again. Shaul did not say, "Keep holy the first day of the week.'' Shaul did not say, "Remember the first day of the week to make it holy,'' That is exactly what the preachers of this world would have you believe.
Shaul Kept The Sabbath
Shaul kept the Sabbath throughout all his journeys. Read of this fact from your own Bible.
Acts
13:14-15—
14 But when they left Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia,
and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath Day, and
sat down.
15 And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the
rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying; Brothers, if you have any
word of exhortation for the people, say it.
Acts
13:42—
And as they went out of the synagogue of the Yahdaim, the
people earnestly begged that these things might be told to
them further the next Sabbath Day.
Acts
13:44—
And the next Sabbath Day, almost the whole city came
together to hear the word of Yahweh; the Law and the Prophets.
Acts
17:2—
And Shaul went in to them, as he usually did, and for three
Sabbath Days reasoned with them from the Scriptures.
Acts 18:4—
And he reasoned in the synagogue every
Sabbath,
and persuaded the Yahdaim and the Greeks.
Proof Sabbath Changed
None of the early believers kept holy the first day of the week. They kept the Sabbath holy, as commanded by Yahweh. So how did Sunday worship become instilled upon this world? The answer to this question was given before this very thing came to pass.
Daniyl 7:25—
And he will speak great words against
Yahweh, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall
away, the
saints of Yahweh, and think
to change
times; Yahweh's Feast Days, and Laws;
and they will be given into his hand until a time, and times, and the
dividing of time.
This Scripture shows that the last religious power would think to change the feast days and Laws of Yahweh. This last religious power has been proven to be the Roman Catholic Church and her Protestant offspring.
As proof that the Roman Catholic Church changed Sabbath worship to Sunday worship, excerpts are quoted from Bible Readings for the Home by Review and Herald Publishing Association, Washington, DC, 1963, pages 415-418.
PAPAL POWER ACKNOWLEDGES THIS ACT
What power has claimed authority to change God's law?
The Papacy.NOTE__"The Pope is of so great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws...The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God; and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth." Translated from Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Bibliotheca (Ready Library), "Papa,'' art. 2.
What part of the law of God has the Papacy thought to change?
The fourth commandment.NOTE: They [the Catholics] allege the change of the Sabbath into the Lord's day, contrary, as it seemeth to the Decalogue; and they have no example more in their mouths than the change of the Sabbath. They will needs have the Church's power to be very great, because it hath dispensed with a precept of the Decalogue. The Augsburg Confession (Lutheran). Part 2. art. 7, in Philip Schaff, The Creeds of Christendom (Harper), Vol. 3, pg. 64.
"It [the Roman Catholic Church] reversed the Fourth Commandment by doing away with the Sabbath of God's word, and instituting Sunday as a holiday." N. Summerbell, History of the Christian Church (1873), pg. 415.Why did God command Israel to hallow the Sabbath?
"For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it" Exodus 20:11.NOTE: As the Sabbath was given that man might keep God in mind as Creator, it can be readily seen that a power endeavoring to exalt itself above God could do this in no other way so effectually as by setting aside God's memorial, the seventh-day Sabbath. To this work of the Papacy Daniel had reference when he said, "And he shall ... think to change times and laws." Daniel 7:25.
Does the Papacy acknowledge changing the Sabbath?
It does.NOTE: The Catechismus Romanus was commanded by the Council of Trent and published by the Vatican Press by order of Pope Pius V, in 1566. This catechism for priests says: "It pleased the church of God, that the religious celebration of the Sabbath day should be transferred to `the Lord's day'." Catechism of the Council of Trent (Donovan's translation, 1867), part 3, chap. 4, pg. 345. The same, in a slightly different wording, is in the McHugh and Callan translation (1937 ed), pg. 402.
Question: How prove you that the Church hath power to command feasts and holy days?
Answer: By the very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday, which Protestants allow of; and therefore they fondly contradict themselves, by keeping Sunday strictly, and breaking most other feasts commanded by the same Church." HENRY TUBERVILLE, An Abridgment of the Christian Doctrine (1833 approbation), pg. 58. (Same statement in Manual of Christian Doctrine, ed. by Daniel Ferris [1916 ed.], pg. 67.)Question: Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?
Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority. STEPHEN KEENAN A Doctrinal Catechism (3d ed.): pg. 174.The Catholic Church by virtue of her divine mission changed the day from Saturday to Sunday. The Catholic Mirror official organ of Cardinal Gibbons, Sept. 23, 1893.
"1. Is Saturday the 7th day according to the Bible & the 10 Commandments?''
"I answer yes.''
"2. Is Sunday the first day of the week & did the Church change the 7th day, Saturday, for Sunday, the first day?''
"I answer yes.''
"3. Did Christ change the day?''
"I answer no!''
Faithfully yours,
J. Cardinal Gibbons
Gibbons' autographed letter.Question: Which is the Sabbath day?
Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday. PETER GEIERMANN, The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (1946 ed.). pg. 50. Geiermann received the "apostolic blessing" of Pope Pius X on his labors, January 25, 1910.The Protestant churches which were originally members of the Roman Catholic Church before they left it in the 1500's and 1600's of this current era, also openly admit that the sanctifying of the first day of the week (Sunday) instead of Yahweh's Sabbath, is a man-made institution of the churches, and not by Yahweh or His word. Quoted here are some of these Protestants' admissions.
The reasons why we keep the first day of the week holy instead of the seventh is for the same reason that we observe many other things, not because the Bible, but the Church has enjoined it. Plain Sermons on Catechism by Isaac Williams (Anglican, and from which came the Methodists, Wesleyans, and Pentecostals), Volume 1, pages 334 and 336.
...It was far from the intentions of the apostles to establish a divine command in this respect; far from them, and from the early apostolic church, to transfer the laws of the Sabbath to Sunday. The History of the Christian Religion and Church by Augustus Neander (Lutheran), page 186.
It is all old wives' fables to talk of the change of the sabbath from the seventh to the first day. If it be changed, it was that august personage who changes times and laws ex officio. I think his name is DOCTOR ANTICHRIST. The Christian Baptist by Alexander Campbell (Christian, Disciples of Christ, Church of Christ), February 2, 1824 issue, Volume 1, Number 7.
Keeping the First Day of the week, as even Church leaders themselves openly admit, is a Satanic teaching which was meant to draw you away from your Creator, Yahweh, so you would not have His blessings or His protection from the things that are coming upon this earth!
Colossians 2:16-17—
16 Therefore, let no man condemn you for doing
these things: eating and drinking in the observance of a
Feast Day, or of a New Moon, or of the Sabbath Day;
17 Which are a shadow
from things to come for the body of
Messiah.
Keeping The Sabbath
The
Sabbath becomes a real joy when kept as
Yahweh intended. Yahweh intended the Sabbath to be kept as a day (Isayah
58:13) in which:
1. You do not do your own business.
2. You call The Sabbath a delight. To do this, you must prepare for the Sabbath before it arrives. You will do all shopping, cooking, baking, boiling, and laundering. The Sabbath begins on Friday at sunset, and it ends Saturday at Sunset. During this time period you break away from daily routines. You go to Services if you live close enough to Yahweh's Sanctuary. If you live too far away, you have a time set apart for Psalms, Prayer, and Study of the Holy Scriptures. If you are not on the Taped Sermon List, write and request these be sent to you. Sabbath would be an excellent time to have this as The Service. You are to eat the best foods, even drink a little wine. You can rest, you can refresh yourself with sleep. When you call the Sabbath a delight, you have made it to be a delight.
3. You will call the Sabbath the Holy Day of Yahweh. You will rest and refresh yourself on His Day. You will not work at PHYSICAL DRUDGERY. This does not mean you cannot light the oven to warm up some food but you will not set out to cook a big meal. You will study Yahweh's Word. When visitors drop in on the Sabbath, seek to study Yahweh's Word with them. Do not let them pull you away from Yahweh on His Holy Day. You will excuse yourself from business telephone calls. When persons call wanting to make plans for a later time, tell them you will call back. You will not turn on the Television from Friday at sunset to Saturday after sunset.
4. To make the Sabbath honorable, and to honor Yahweh, you will not do your own ways. You will not find your own pleasures. You will not speak vain words, such as gossip, slander, rumor, reviews on movies or politics, what is on television now or later, the progress of your employment, your job search, or your new clothes, etc. All this is vanity.
Keeping the Sabbath as Yahweh intended gives one a needed break from what can become a monotonous routine. One has time to relax, to grow closer to one's family, and to grow closer to Yahweh through prayer and study of His Holy Word.
Blessings Of The Sabbath
Those who have never kept the Sabbath as Yahweh intended cannot know what a spiritual joy they are missing. Neither can they realize that many blessings are passing them by. One of these blessings is the blessing of answered prayers.
Proverbs
28:9—
He who turns away his ear from hearing the Law, even
his prayers are an abomination.
Start showing your Faith by doing works—by doing what Yahweh said to do. Yahweh will then hear your prayers!
Isayah
58:9—
Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer; you will
cry, and He will say: Here I am.
If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of
the finger, and speaking vanity; iniquity, unrighteousness.
The Holy Scriptures are the true Word of Yahweh. Do not doubt this just because some deceived preachers are teaching things contrary to what the Scriptures really say! Let Yahweh be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4). Remember, Satan has the whole world deceived.
Revelation 12:9—
And the great dragon was
cast out, that old serpent, called
the Devil, and Satan, who
deceives the whole world.
She was cast
out into the earth, and her angels were cast out
with her.
Don't you be deceived like the rest of this world!
Revelation 18:3-4—
3 For all nations have drunk of the
wine of the
wrath of her fornication,
and the kings of the earth have
committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have
grown rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another
voice from heaven, saying: Come
out of her, My people,
so that you do not partake in her
sins, and so that you do not receive of her plagues.

This book contains 596 pages of text, and 104 pages of Table of Contents, Foreword, and detailed chapter indexes so you can easily find an answer to any subject or topic. This chapter index will prove invaluable in your studies about specific Sabbath questions. This book is not only well documented, it is also well indexed.
If you are an individual of discrimination who will not settle for anything except the complete truth, then you need this book. There has been a continuous and heated controversy for hundreds, yes, thousands of years concerning the Scriptural Sabbath days. The Messiah knew the truth; the Apostles knew the truth; and the Prophets knew the truth. But deceivers (translators) have covered the original inspired Scriptures which present the Sabbath truthfully. Weak preachers have ignored the Scriptural evidence given to mankind, because they simply hated to stir up controversy. So many, many truths have been hidden from the public about this vital subject.
Yet, others who were strong enough throughout history to face opposition, have boldly suffered persecution and death due to the fact that they dared to bring out just a part of what you will find completely revealed in this book. Because some men throughout history were willing to die to prevent truth from being completely suppressed, you now have some historical evidence for the great truth of the Sabbath.
In this book, The Sabbath; Every Question Answered, no vital subject is left uncovered; no controversy is left unchallenged, and no question is left unanswered. In spite of all controversies, angry words, or opposition, each of these questions has a proven answer. It is only this proof which can either be accepted or rejected. So, if truth and proof about the truth are what you are seeking, obtain this book.
